[Legal entity name] respects copyright and expects users of AI Smut Generator to do the same. Our Content Policy prohibits using the Service to reproduce copyrighted text from published works. This page explains how copyright owners can report infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512), and how users can respond.

About the Service

AI Smut Generator is a text-only AI writing tool. Stories are private to the account that created them and are not publicly published or shared through the Service. Because of this, most copyright concerns will relate to text generated for, or submitted by, a specific user. We still review every valid notice and act on it.

  • Company: [Legal entity name]
  • Address: {DMCA agent postal address}
  • Email: {DMCA agent email}
  • Phone: {DMCA agent phone}

Sending a takedown notice

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), your notice must be in writing and include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed. If several works are covered by one notice, a representative list.
  3. Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it. Because stories are private, include anything that helps us locate it, such as a story title, an account email, a screenshot or the exact passage.
  4. Your contact information: name, postal address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Notices missing these elements may not be valid, and we may ask you for the missing details.

What happens next

When we receive a valid notice, we will:

  • remove or disable access to the identified material promptly
  • notify the affected user and give them a copy of the notice, with your personal contact details handled as the law allows
  • record the notice for our repeat infringer policy

We aim to acknowledge notices within {e.g. 2 business days}.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to our designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3), it must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which [Legal entity name] may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

When we receive a valid counter-notice, we will send a copy to the person who sent the original notice. We will restore the material in 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice, unless that person tells us they have filed a court action to stop the infringement.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please consider fair use and seek legal advice if you are unsure.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also restrict accounts that repeatedly try to generate copies of published works, whether or not a notice has been received.
